Vivo is anticipated to unveil a new smartphone in India as part of its X200 series, named the Vivo X200 FE. This device could potentially bridge the gap that was present when the initial set of X200 series smartphones was launched in the country. When the X200 lineup debuted in China, many believed that all three models — X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini — would be available in India. However, Vivo completely omitted the ‘Mini’ version, opting to release only the standard and Pro variants. This situation now seems to be evolving. Not because the X200 Pro Mini is finally making its debut, but rather because the Vivo X200 FE is expected to address that void. Although it may not be officially labeled as such, the X200 FE is likely a rebranded iteration of the S30 Pro Mini from China.

The Vivo X200 FE is rumored to come equipped with a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, the device is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e chipset, which is an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+ chip. It is also anticipated to be offered in storage configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, although the Indian market will likely see a 12GB + 256GB variant priced at approximately Rs 50,000.

Battery performance appears to be another significant advantage. The X200 FE is expected to house a substantial 6,500mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging capabilities, which should easily allow most users to last through an entire day and beyond, with minimal charging time required. Vivo is also likely to maintain several premium features, including a metal frame, dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

From a camera perspective, the smartphone may feature a triple rear configuration led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor equipped with OIS, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The front is reportedly equipped with a 50-megapixel camera intended for selfies and video calls. Regarding software, it is anticipated that Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, will be pre-installed. Although Vivo has not officially announced the launch, various reports indicate a potential debut in India in July. Additionally, the smartphone was recently observed on India’s BIS certification website, hinting at an upcoming release. The X200 FE is also expected to be available in grey and yellow color variants in India.
