The producers of director Maruthi’s highly anticipated horror thriller, The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas in the leading role, revealed the film’s release date earlier today. It is set to hit theatres on December 5, 2025.
In addition to this thrilling announcement, the producers also shared that a teaser for the film will be unveiled on June 16, providing fans with a sneak peek of this genre-defying film.
Prabhas will venture into new territory with this project, as The Raja Saab marks his first full-length horror film.
The initial motion poster, which was released by the producers some time ago, suggested a captivatingly twisted combination of supernatural themes and classic charm.
Supported by People Media Factory, the film is set to be a visual extravaganza. Insiders indicate that the production is being executed on a large scale with unwavering production standards.
T G Vishwa Prasad is at the helm of production for this film, which features cinematography by Karthik Palani and music composed by Thaman S.
In contrast to traditional filmmaking practices where songs are typically finalized prior to shooting, the team behind The Raja Saab has adopted a unique strategy, granting Thaman the artistic liberty to revisit his musical pieces.
To provide a brief update on the film’s progress, it is important to note that it has encountered several delays. The Raja Saab was originally slated for release in April 2025. However, due to various post-production challenges, including the completion of the VFX work and refining the final product, the release date has been postponed. Subsequently, the release was delayed again as the team aimed to enhance the film and complete remaining shooting segments. The latest official announcement confirms that December 5, 2025, has now been established as the new release date.
Raja Saheb Cast:
The ensemble of The Raja Saab features the trio of Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who are anticipated to enhance the vibrant atmosphere of the film.
The Raja Saab is scheduled for a grand Pan-India release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
