Toyota has officially introduced the Fortuner equipped with the new 48V hybrid technology. This innovative hybrid configuration is now available for both the Fortuner and the Legender models. To elaborate, the new hybrid variant of the Toyota Fortuner is priced at Rs 53.89 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), while the Legender Hybrid is available at Rs 60.36 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Bookings for the all-new Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive variants are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in the third week of June.

This latest 48V hybrid configuration is combined with Toyota’s 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. With this innovative setup, the model is anticipated to deliver enhanced efficiency. Furthermore, this new engine is expected to contribute to better throttle response and rapid acceleration. However, this is not the only enhancement! In addition to providing the new Neo 48V hybrid configuration, the manufacturer has also incorporated several features into the Fortuner’s offerings. The aforementioned list comprises the equipment available on both the Fortuner and the Fortuner Legender. Aside from the additional features, the new SUV does not showcase any exterior modifications.

In addition to the aforementioned features, the Fortuner provides several other amenities such as ventilated and powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, cruise control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 11-speaker JBL surround sound setup, auto-dimming IRVMs, and additional options within its package.
